Alcohol Detox

Alcohol Detox TreatmentMany individuals have allowed alcohol to become a controlling force in their lives.  What is even more difficult is the ordeal that they are faced when they enter an Alcohol Detox program in order to heal and lead healthier, more productive lives.  Granted, the first major step is admitting that they have a problem.  However, seeking help and entering a program, such as one of the programs here at our Alcohol Detox treatment and recovery facility, is the biggest step.  Additionally, interventions at the hands of family and friends oftentimes become necessary because the alcoholic is in denial.

Our Alcohol Detox program enables the client to rid themselves of their substance addiction and is conducted in a homelike setting.  Unlike the traditional facilities which appear clinical or hospital like in appearance, our client feels less intimidated when entering any of our programs here at our facility.  The individual is afforded a more calming effect as well as, making the difficult tasks of treatment and recovery much easier for them to deal with.  We are well aware as to how seriously alcohol damages a person emotionally, mentally, and physically.  So whatever can be done to ease the experience is a plus.

There are numerous warning signs that you can look for if you suspect that a close friend, fellow employee, family member, or loved one is suffering with an alcohol problem and needs Alcohol Detox treatment. It may involve only one of the following signs or a combination thereof:

  • Smelling of alcohol regardless of what time of the day it is
  • Proper hygiene habits are lacking and the individual dresses  sloppily
  • Insomnia, restlessness, or other sleep disorders
  • Forgetting to  follow through with important appointments or shirking other personal obligations
  • Excessive (sometimes predictable) absenteeism and/or tardiness at their place of employment
  • Erratic or extreme behavior and mood swings
  • Drinking long after an event or gathering is over and others have stopped
  • Drinking to the point where the individual blacks out,  especially when they are alone
  • Drinking early in the day or creating the opportunity to drink
  • Drinking prior to any social event, whether they are getting a head start on the event or easing some of the social discomfort associated with the event
  • Behavior that indicates apathy, depression, or hopelessness
  • Making excuses to justify any of the above behavioral patterns

Our Alcohol Detox is aware of the fact that in order for any alcohol treatment program to be successful so that the client fully recovers, that the psychology of the addiction process must be fully understood.  At the same time, the program has to focus on treating the person’s emotional, mental, and physical aspects as well as the consequences of their addiction.  This is the underlying premise of our Alcohol Detox program and is also why we can boast that we have one of the highest percentage success rates in the United States.
