Detox from Alcohol is a program we employ at our treatment center that enables the addicted person to rid themselves of the substance they are addicted to.  Additionally, the client receives their treatment in a homelike setting instead of the traditional facility that looks like a clinic or hospital.  This affords the client a more calming effect and lessens the difficulty of the treatment and recovery process.  We are well aware as to how seriously alcohol damages a person – emotionally, mentally, and physically – and our Detox from Alcohol process is much more successful than those processes that are employed at the traditional treatment facility.

Not only does the detox from Alcohol program take place in a non-clinical appearing facility, we also employ licensed and certified physicians or psychologists to supervise the treatment and recovery process as well.  This ensures our clients of receiving the individual attention that they so desperately need in order to effectively recover from their addiction and the damage that it has caused over the years.

It is no secret that the treatment and recovery process can be an extremely painful one for the addicted client.  Clients oftentimes succumb to bad experiences such as:

• Blackouts
• Hallucinations
• Nausea
• Shaking
• Sweating
• Twitching
• Vomiting

Additionally, there can be other unpleasant experiences involved while they are healing from those years of alcohol abuse, and sometimes the situations can turn violent.  These experiences reveal just how deep the damage from alcohol addiction runs emotionally, mentally, and physically. It also illustrates just how dependent an individual’s body can become with the continued ingestion of alcohol.

The most common misconception in society, especially with individuals who have never had an alcohol addiction and gone through a Detox from Alcohol treatment program is that this stage can is so unpleasant that they assume the afflicted person would be deterred from ever relapsing and getting addicted again.  Alcohol addiction is viewed as an allergy to the person’s body as well as an obsession of their mind.  So it is easy to envision why these traditional Detox from Alcohol programs fail at the rate that they do.

At our facility, the detox from Alcohol process is handled in a more comfortable setting.  As was mentioned above, our facility does not appear clinic or hospital like.  All of our therapy sessions are conducted under the strict supervision of a certified and licensed physician or psychologist.  In addition to this, several of our staff members have faced their own demons and have gone through a Detox from Alcohol treatment, recovering from their own addiction in the process.  This is another benefit to the client since they are able to relate to another person who has suffered and healed in the way that they are attempting to themselves.
