Our executive drug rehab is all about Emotional Success
Our
executive drug rehab takes into account the patient’s emotional state (Most treatment programs address an addiction problem exclusively at an educational level, or solely by utilizing a “12 Step” approach.)
The emotional aspect of addiction is the primary reason a person continues to abuse substances.
- Our addiction treatment deeply penetrates denial.
- We holds people accountable
- We heals emotional wounds
- WE enhance the person’s self-esteem
- This is the only program of its kind, anywhere!

Is executive drug rehab a Sign of Weakness?
Some consider it a sign of weakness to enter
executive drug rehab, but in reality, this is the strongest, most courageous step an addict could take. Many people allow their lives to be completely ruined or even snuffed out by drug addiction, because they will not admit their need for help. Their pride stands in the way of recovery, of restored relationships and a successful life. The addict who chooses to enter and complete a executive drug rehab is to be commended for having the courage to regain control of their life.
schizophrenic
A client who has been diagnosed as schizophrenic, or has been diagnosed as being susceptible to the condition, will not be administered medicines in our
executive drug rehab that result in confusion as a side effect. Severe consequences for the client could result if the dual diagnosis is ignored or overlooked. A severe psychotic episode could easily be triggered as a result of improper medications being prescribed. Emotional or mental breakdowns can also occur and the return of a previous disorder may accompany that as well. All of these side effects could cause permanent or serious damage to the client’s health and even cause their death.
importance of properly diagnosing
The importance of properly diagnosing the client is paramount to any program that we prescribe. If brain and/or personality disorders are overlooked or mis-diagnosed, this could result in negative consequences, specifically an unsuccessful treatment and recovery process. For instance, if a client is suffering from acute depression, or susceptible to it, they will not be treated with any medications that could produce depression. Severe suicidal tendencies could develop, making the treatment and recovery process more difficult.
The Three things that are the most important to our executive drug rehab
- Accountability – The person needs to be accountable for his/her actions and the resulting consequences. He/she must break through denial or delusion that he/she has a problem that will lead only to institutionalization, insanity, or death.
- Responsibility The person needs to take the necessary steps in treatment to follow direction of professionals and those who have “been there, done that.” This means Chapman House staff is not only professionally trained and licensed, but have a majority of staff members who are themselves in recovery from an addiction or co-existing disorders. Each step of responsible behavior builds a person’s self-esteem, credibility with others, and confidence. These elements are all critical to recovery. One small step of responsibility will eventually lead to a responsible, self-sufficient person.
- Time The person needs to accept the fact that recovery is a process and not an event. If it took years to develop this condition, it will naturally take time to develop solid recovery. The A-R-T of recovery is accomplished under the supervision of our caring, knowledgeable staff.
