For over 40 years, Chapman House has been successfully treating behavioral health and addiction disorders. Our long-standing industry experience is a true testimony to our program. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Most of those entering our program have caused damage to their family/loved ones. Therefore, we offer a Family Component that assists in RESOLVING RESENTMENTS.
We assess and address each individual’s Primary issue (addiction, depression, Anxiety, etc.)
We have created a self-esteem enhancement component that addresses the person’s damaged self-esteem.
We conduct Depression Inventories and evaluations with each client. After which, a Personalized Treatment Plan is devolved to insure cohesive treatment throughout one’s stay.
While most programs fail to address the important feelings of shame and anger, we’ve developed a shame reduction component that only Chapman House offers.
Generally, clients will bring one week’s worth of clothing. We have laundry facilities for exclusive use by our client. Weapons and non-prescribed drugs are not permitted.
Yes, you may contact loved ones through your counselor or by speaking to them direct on their evening free time.
Aftercare is a plan that is devised between our staff and the client for what they will do upon discharge from the program. When a person enters our treatment programs, we begin the aftercare and follow-up process within the first week of admission. This helps the client to be prepared upon discharge.
We accept all forms of PPO insurance, and we are in contract with many HMO’s. Please call our Intake Coordinator to check your benefits in just minutes.
Sober-living is a cooperative living arrangement between people whom chose to reside with recovering people 24/7; at least until one feels secure enough to return home. About 30%-40% of our clients choose to go on to sober-living after treatment here. It is where people go to maintain what they have acquired long enough to practice the principles acquired in treatment at Chapman House.
A halfway house is for inmates leaving prison, and may or may not mandate sobriety as a condition of living there. Each State has its own procedures for this. A halfway house is not necessarily related to sober-living.
Each client’s needs are unique, and a specific treatment plan is written to their particular issues. However, between detox phase and treatment phase we find an average of a 45-day stay.
Guests are welcome if they agree to participate in the family program one night per week and they are supportive of the client’s recovery.
Our client’s spend each day in a variety of therapeutic activities. To name a few: Group therapy, art therapy, individual therapy, exercise, educational workshops and free time to relax, heal, absorb your newly found techniques of living well, and aftercare planning.
You can expect to meet with your physician, and plan the course of medications that will safely and comfortably titrate you down off of the substances in your body.
Yes. However, we recommend you follow our recommendations after detox. Outpatient therapy can be attended one to six days per week (day treatment), or as an aftercare follow-up program.
