Chapman House offers outpatient substance abuse treatment at our facility in the City of Orange, CA. Our outpatient rehab therapy offers:

Chapman House has the two of the top interventionists in the country, each trained at the original Johnson Institute in Wayzata, Minnesota, in the 1970s by Vernon Johnson himself (known as the “father of intervention”). We are 98 percent successful in convincing a person to enter treatment. Our interventionists teach the family and support each family member through the process.

Telehealth Sessions

Telehealth sessions are private, confidential, and HIPAA-compliant individual-sessions between a Chapman House clinician and a client. This form of outpatient rehab is a video conference that can be conducted from anywhere with an internet connection.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy in a Chapman outpatient treatment program involves private, confidential, and HIPAA-compliant face-to-face outpatient rehab sessions conducted between a Chapman House clinician and a Client.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can be conducted with an individual family, the client, and a Chapman House clinician. Referred to as a “con-joint family session.”

Group Family Therapy: Group family therapy is a confidential and HIPAA-compliant group session conducted with the client, their family, and other families in our residential treatment program. This “multi-family therapy” is an educational class conducted by the group facilitator focusing on how the client’s problem(s) have affected the family and how the power of the group can assist in real-world solutions.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers private, confidential, and HIPAA-compliant face-to-face sessions, conducted between a Chapman House clinician, the client, and the client’s significant other.

Group Therapy

Group therapy takes place in a confidential and HIPAA-compliant group session, usually conducted with a small group of clients in the program and facilitated by their assigned therapist/counselor. The group facilitator conducts an educational session that includes treatment planning, a progress report, and a feedback session that involves all clients on the therapist’s caseload. Group participants can point out issues to each other, while the facilitator focuses on how the client’s behavior affects others and how it hinders their lives.
